Courses Approval
If you are interested in becoming a sexual and relationship therapist you may wish to consider doing a diploma course.
The courses currently approved by BASRT are listed below. They vary in length, content and the final qualification they offer. Please contact the course director for further details.
Courses Approved by BASRT
MSC / Postgraduate Diploma in Sexual and Relationship Psychotherapy
(hosted by Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust and validated by Sheffield Hallam University)
The Porterbrook Clinic is please to offer part-time training courses in Sexual Medicine and Psychosexual Therapy designed especially for therapists, medical and health care professionals. The four-year MSc and two-year PG Diploma courses are validated by Sheffield Hallam University and approved by BASRT. Specialist modular leaning is also available.

If you would like to gain BASRT approval for your course please contact us for further information and an application pack.
Please note we have two separate procedures for gaining approval depending on whether your course is a short one or two day course or a longer course lasting up to four years.
